Face Reading has long history in China

Friday, July 24th, 2009

In fact, in face reading there is not only reading someone’s face, but also observe their actions. For example talking, walking, sitting, standing, eating….

Face Reading has a very long history in China. (I’m not sure about the Western Face Reading)

Story of Fan Li 范蠡

Fan Li and Wen Zhong were partners helping King Yue in about 500 BC. After Fan & Wen helped him became Real King Yue. Fan knew he should go because he read King Yue’s face!

Fan sent a letter to Wen before he went.

In the letter Fan stated something like this “…..King Yue…he is Long Neck Bird Beak… he uses you when he needs you…..now he is the Real King and he is going to kill you….if you leave now, you can avoid dead…..

Unfortunately, Wen stayed and was killed by King Yue!

Long neck means his Neck is long. Bird Beak is describing his Nose.

Bird Beak in face reading today is called Eagle’s nose.

A person with Eagle’s Nose is believed he/she is cunning, especially when it has 3 curves.

Can you think who has a 3 curves nose?

What is Zi Wei Dou Shu?

Friday, July 10th, 2009

Ziwei Dou Shu is another ancient Chinese astrology. Like the BaZi, it is a fortune telling methodology. It is believed that the Ziweidoushu was first practised in the Sung Dynasty which means it has over a thousand years history.

Ziwei Dou Shu uses a Ziwei chart which is formed by placing “symbols” (or stars) into the 12 different “houses” according to one’s birth time (year, month, day and hour).

From the chart, the Ziweidoushu practitioner is able to analyze the trend of a persons life and, best of all, is able to predict what would be the outcome of a particular issue in much the same way as economists use graphs and charts to predict economic cycles.

Ziwei is one of the “Star” names. The major “Star” and the first “Star” in the ZiWei Dou Shu Astrology. That is why it is called “Zi Wei Dou Shu”

Face Reading

Sunday, July 5th, 2009

In face Reading, the most important parts of our face are the eye-bows, the eyes, the cheeks, and the nose.  It is because these parts represent from the age 30 to 50 of a person. Especially the eyes and the nose are more important, the nose represents the age of a person from 40 to 50.

If a person, his/her nose’s shape crooked,  too short, not good looking, got a mole, the nose bridge too low,  regardless the top part or the bottom part of the nose, the person will have financial problem during the age of 40 to 50.

A friend of mine, his nose has a big mole on the bottom part of the nose, at his 45 years old, his company got broken in and stolen a lot of valueable goods. Unfortunately he was not insured.

Another person, his nose bridge (the nose bridge is between the eyes) is very low. The nose bridge represents age 41. Last year he was 41.

I warned him a couple years ago. I told him to be more relax at the age of 41. I told him do not be too agressive.  However, he did not listen to me.  He made a couple of bad decisions last year. He then lost control his financial matter. He went bankrupt.

Another good example is MJ. MJ’s nose has numbers of operations. And if you compare his nose before and after the operation, you can see they are much differents.  His nose is much better looking before the plastic surgery.

You can compare the followings and see them yourself.

In face reading comparison is important. Compare his nose!

The Birth time for Chinese Astrology – Four Pillars of Destiny

Saturday, June 20th, 2009

There are mainly 3 schools of theories about the birth hour using in Chinese Astrology – Four Pillars of Destiny.

First school, local watch hour to be used.

Second school, the birth hour must be coverted to Beijing time.

Third school, the birth hour is not important, whatever birth hour is given just use it.

Each of the school has their own explanation. The followings are the general ideas of each school’s point.

The first school’s reason is that it is the time for a particular place. wherever you are born you bond or connect with that place. So that the local time to be used.

The second school’s theory is that the Chinese Astrology – Four Pillars of Destiny was invented in China. So that, wherever you were born, the birth hour must be converted to Beijing time. For example, a person was born in Sydeny at noon. By converting to Beijing time, we need to deducted 2 hours, (at present no Daylight saving), Sydeny is 2 hours ahead of Beijing, to the birth time. As a result, the birth time should be 10am in the morning (Beijing Time) to be used in the Four Pillars Natal Chart.

The third school’s argument is that Chinese Astrology is just a Metaphysics. Metaphysics does not base on the physical evidences. For Metaphysics, just anything grabs from the air can be used. So whatever time is given, just use it.

In my practice, I found that in Chinese Astrology – Four Pillars of Destiny and Zi wei Dau Shu, the birth time is very important in realtion to calculate the luck, especially when calculating the pregnant for a female since the Hour Pillar is the Children’s House.

The birth time I use in my readings are different from all of the above three schools.

I use Solar Time in my reading.

The birth hour is known as Time. And Solar Time should be used in Chinese Astrology – Four Pillars of Destiny.

In Chinese Astrology there is a saying: “If the birth hour is faked, the destiny or luck calculted is incorrect.”

Time in Chinese character written as Time in Chinese Character, It is formed by three different Chinese characters.

1. The Sun. (day)

2. The earth or land. (land)

3. the inch. (inch)

Imagine the picture gives to “Time” in Chinese Characters are the Sun, the Land and the Inch. So that Time which has a meaning of: “The Sun shines on every inch of the land”.

The word Solar come from the word Sun. It implies the Solar Time.

In my practice, I use Local Solar Time for my Natal Chart. It is much more accurate to use Local Solar Time.

What is Solar time?

As the SUN and The Earth is rotating. The Time is changing. However for adminstrative purpose, the day and night are divided into 24 hours. Each hour has 15 degree of longitudes. 1 degree equal 4 minutes.

To work out the Local Solar Time, we need to know what longltude we are using for a place. For example, Sydney and Melbourne time are both using 150E longitude. Both Cities using the same watch time(GMT + 10). However the Local Solar Time for the two cities are not the same. Sydney is fall on longitude 151”E and Melbourne is on longitude 144.58”E.

In the morning from 9am – 11am is Snake hour. From 11am – 1pm is Horse hour. If a person born in Melbourne at 11:10am in the morning, it is the Horse hour. However, we need to work out the Local Solar Time for Four Pillars Natal Chart.

We need to take 20 minutes {(150-145) x 4min = 20minutes} away from the watch time he was born. As a result, 11:10am – 20 min = 10:50am in the morning. It becomes the Snake hour.
