Forms Feng Shui School – the first layer of wealth & health.

October 3rd, 2009

The Forms Feng Shui School is talking about the surrounding forms of a building, a house or a burial grave.

The surrounding forms have direct affect on our wealth and health.

The surrounding forms are analyzed according to the location of the “Four Celestial Animals”.

In Feng Shui, we call these animals the “Red Bird or Red Phoenix”, the “Black Tortoise”, the “Green Dragon” and the “White Tiger”.

The names of these “Four Celestial Animals” come from the Taoism.

Each animal has its own color. Do you know why? Why they are called such names? Of course there are reasons. It is very difficult to explain them in a few words. You need a lot of Chinese Astrology and Feng Shui knowledge to understand. I am better not confusing you right now.

In fact, they are imaginary animals to represent the positions relate to a building, a house or a burial grave.

When a building or a burial grave is located within this perfect arrangement and provided that the correct facing is calculated, then precious energy is created and can attract good fortune for the occupants or good energy can be passed to the offspring.

Well, if the facing is slightly off the precise facing, the good forms will still bring good energy, good health, good wealth and harmony. This will also apply to the Yang Feng Shui.

A typical burial grave’s “Four Celestial Animals” is like this.
The “Four Celestial Animals” is just a general idea. In Feng Shui facts, typically in Yin Feng Shui it is more than “Four Celestial Animals”.
Form the diagram, an ideal Yin Feng Shui site; you can consider the following Feng Shui features:

formForGraveweb

This is a perfect Yin Feng Shui Arrangement!

1, 2 is the “Black Tortoise”
3 is the burial point (Dragon Den),
4, 5 is the “Red Bird or Red Phoenix”, or “Bright Halls”
6 is the “White Tiger”
7 is the “Green Dragon”
8, “On” – Long Table or Cashier table.
9, Water Mouth Mountain
10, “Law Shing” or “Surrounding Mountain”
11. Pilgrimage Mountain

You need all the above features to make a perfect Burial Grave or Feng Shui Dragon Den.

The Yang Feng Shui for a building or a house borrows the concept of the “Four Celestial Animals” from Yin Feng Shui.
The “Red Bird or Red Phoenix” is the area located at the front of a building or house. In fact I prefer to use the term “Bright Hall”. It should be a flat, open space. Always ensure that this area should bright and neat.

The “Green Dragon” is located to the left of a building or a house, as you stand against it and face outward. The “Green Dragon” provides you with Yang Energy which gives you helping hand from external and good health.

The “White Tiger” is located to the opposite side to the Green Dragon. It is at the right hand side of a building or a house, if you stand against it then face outward. If the “White Tiger” is too strong, it will bring Yin Energy to the house which will give ill-health. The female in the house will be stronger and more powerful.

The “Black Tortoise” is located at the rear of a building or a house. It symbolizes a tower of strength behind you, supporting you and protecting you.

Most people understand the “Four Celestial Animals” and its position but how to utilize them? I believe that not many people know. Let say, after you moving into a house, the surrounding forms are already existed and they are fixed; unless you neighbors build a double storey house to make the “Green Dragon” or “White Tiger” side higher. But how often do your neighbors re-build? If there is no rebuild, how to fine-tune these “Four Celestial Animals”? What kind of techniques we should employ?

Well here are some Feng Shui Tips for you.

For the “Red Bird or Red Phoenix”, I call it “Bright Hall”. Never build any big object in the middle of the “Bright Hall”. If so, it is called “Sickness Mountain”. I have an article talk about the effect of the “Sickness Mountain”. You can go to Articles and read about it.
Sometimes, after the house was built, the land forms and the surrounding were not so ideal, and then some Feng Shui techniques can be implementing to improve the Energy flows. For outside animal such as Lions are for protection. Especially there is a poison Arrow “Sha”(bad energy) point to the house.
There are a few styles of Lions. Normal the one place at the Right hand side (look outward to the street from the house) is Female. The Male lion is at the Left hand side.

The Female Lion is holding a lion calf. The Male lion is holding a Ball. There are special meanings for them.

For example, this house is in Beijing, in one of the Hu-Tongs (Hu-Tong means a small lane way, similar to Hardware Lane in Melbourne CBD) use a pair of lions.

Lionweb

A pair of Lions protecting a house, very good Feng Shui

The Stone lions guard against evil entering the house. However not every house can implement these features. These kinds of features are for high ranking officers only.

The other Feng Shui Form most talked about is the Poison Arrow.
In Feng Shui, there are very often mentioned of “Sha” Chi (bad energy) is the Poison Arrow Sha. Most Feng Shui Consultants said that Poison Arrow Shas are bad.

Poison Arrow Sha is a straight road shooting to a building or a house.
However the Poison Arrow Sha sometimes can be good.
There are certain businesses can use Poison Arrow Sha to improve their business. Here is one example. Look at the following picture.

The picture was taken when I went to donate blood at the Pinewood Shopping centre, Mount Waverley.

PoisonArrowRedCrossWeb

The road leading to or hitting a building or a house is called Pioson arrow. Bad Feng Shui!

The road is hitting to the building. This building in front is the Red Cross blood Donation Building.

If you are going to donate blood at this centre, you need to make appointment 3 to 4 weeks in advance. Think about it and you will understand why I said this is a good Poison Arrow.

Here is a Bad Poison Arrow. The property is for lease.
The property is at an Intersection. It is hit by a Poison Arrow. The The property is for lease. It is very self explanatory that the poison arrow is hurting this business.

Poinson Arrow at a T intersection hitting to a shop - bad Feng Shui

Poinson Arrow at a T intersection hitting to a shop - bad Feng Shui

By comparing the above two Feng Shui examples, for normal home and business should avoid the poison arrow.

Face Reading has long history in China

July 24th, 2009

In fact, in face reading there is not only reading someone’s face, but also observe their actions. For example talking, walking, sitting, standing, eating….

Face Reading has a very long history in China. (I’m not sure about the Western Face Reading)

Story of Fan Li 范蠡

Fan Li and Wen Zhong were partners helping King Yue in about 500 BC. After Fan & Wen helped him became Real King Yue. Fan knew he should go because he read King Yue’s face!

Fan sent a letter to Wen before he went.

In the letter Fan stated something like this “…..King Yue…he is Long Neck Bird Beak… he uses you when he needs you…..now he is the Real King and he is going to kill you….if you leave now, you can avoid dead…..

Unfortunately, Wen stayed and was killed by King Yue!

Long neck means his Neck is long. Bird Beak is describing his Nose.

Bird Beak in face reading today is called Eagle’s nose.

A person with Eagle’s Nose is believed he/she is cunning, especially when it has 3 curves.

Can you think who has a 3 curves nose?

Four Pillars Bazi charts made easy

July 10th, 2009

There are two ways, easy and hard, to construct a Four Pillars Natal Chart. An easy way is just using a four pillars Bazi software or web tools to generate the charts.

By using Four Pillar or BaZi plotting software or web tools, just key in the birth data, Year, Month, Day and the Hour, Click OK on the screen, or hit the ENTER Key on the keyboard, the Four Pillars Bazi Software will generate the Four Pillars or Bazi Chart for you within seconds. It is that easy to use a Four Pillars BaZi software.

Before using computer Four Pillars Software, I usually speed 30 to 45 minutes to just have the Charts done. It wastes a lot of time.

Now, all of the Four Pillars softwares calculate the Luck Pillars or Decade Pillars, (Each Luck Pillars controls 10 years of Luck in the Luck Cycle) It can also print out the yearly Pillars as well.

I have been using a Hong Kong developed Four Pillars software. It is an excellent Four Pillars Bazi software. Initially, this company only does the Chinese Version for PC and PDA.

Lately, they have translated this excellent Four Pillars Software into English. I think they will have a big market for the Four Pillars Software.

What is Zi Wei Dou Shu?

July 10th, 2009

Ziwei Dou Shu is another ancient Chinese astrology. Like the BaZi, it is a fortune telling methodology. It is believed that the Ziweidoushu was first practised in the Sung Dynasty which means it has over a thousand years history.

Ziwei Dou Shu uses a Ziwei chart which is formed by placing “symbols” (or stars) into the 12 different “houses” according to one’s birth time (year, month, day and hour).

From the chart, the Ziweidoushu practitioner is able to analyze the trend of a persons life and, best of all, is able to predict what would be the outcome of a particular issue in much the same way as economists use graphs and charts to predict economic cycles.

Ziwei is one of the “Star” names. The major “Star” and the first “Star” in the ZiWei Dou Shu Astrology. That is why it is called “Zi Wei Dou Shu”

Face Reading

July 5th, 2009

In face Reading, the most important parts of our face are the eye-bows, the eyes, the cheeks, and the nose.  It is because these parts represent from the age 30 to 50 of a person. Especially the eyes and the nose are more important, the nose represents the age of a person from 40 to 50.

If a person, his/her nose’s shape crooked,  too short, not good looking, got a mole, the nose bridge too low,  regardless the top part or the bottom part of the nose, the person will have financial problem during the age of 40 to 50.

A friend of mine, his nose has a big mole on the bottom part of the nose, at his 45 years old, his company got broken in and stolen a lot of valueable goods. Unfortunately he was not insured.

Another person, his nose bridge (the nose bridge is between the eyes) is very low. The nose bridge represents age 41. Last year he was 41.

I warned him a couple years ago. I told him to be more relax at the age of 41. I told him do not be too agressive.  However, he did not listen to me.  He made a couple of bad decisions last year. He then lost control his financial matter. He went bankrupt.

Another good example is MJ. MJ’s nose has numbers of operations. And if you compare his nose before and after the operation, you can see they are much differents.  His nose is much better looking before the plastic surgery.

You can compare the followings and see them yourself.

In face reading comparison is important. Compare his nose!

The Birth time for Chinese Astrology – Four Pillars of Destiny

June 20th, 2009

There are mainly 3 schools of theories about the birth hour using in Chinese Astrology – Four Pillars of Destiny.

First school, local watch hour to be used.

Second school, the birth hour must be coverted to Beijing time.

Third school, the birth hour is not important, whatever birth hour is given just use it.

Each of the school has their own explanation. The followings are the general ideas of each school’s point.

The first school’s reason is that it is the time for a particular place. wherever you are born you bond or connect with that place. So that the local time to be used.

The second school’s theory is that the Chinese Astrology – Four Pillars of Destiny was invented in China. So that, wherever you were born, the birth hour must be converted to Beijing time. For example, a person was born in Sydeny at noon. By converting to Beijing time, we need to deducted 2 hours, (at present no Daylight saving), Sydeny is 2 hours ahead of Beijing, to the birth time. As a result, the birth time should be 10am in the morning (Beijing Time) to be used in the Four Pillars Natal Chart.

The third school’s argument is that Chinese Astrology is just a Metaphysics. Metaphysics does not base on the physical evidences. For Metaphysics, just anything grabs from the air can be used. So whatever time is given, just use it.

In my practice, I found that in Chinese Astrology – Four Pillars of Destiny and Zi wei Dau Shu, the birth time is very important in realtion to calculate the luck, especially when calculating the pregnant for a female since the Hour Pillar is the Children’s House.

The birth time I use in my readings are different from all of the above three schools.

I use Solar Time in my reading.

The birth hour is known as Time. And Solar Time should be used in Chinese Astrology – Four Pillars of Destiny.

In Chinese Astrology there is a saying: “If the birth hour is faked, the destiny or luck calculted is incorrect.”

Time in Chinese character written as Time in Chinese Character, It is formed by three different Chinese characters.

1. The Sun. (day)

2. The earth or land. (land)

3. the inch. (inch)

Imagine the picture gives to “Time” in Chinese Characters are the Sun, the Land and the Inch. So that Time which has a meaning of: “The Sun shines on every inch of the land”.

The word Solar come from the word Sun. It implies the Solar Time.

In my practice, I use Local Solar Time for my Natal Chart. It is much more accurate to use Local Solar Time.

What is Solar time?

As the SUN and The Earth is rotating. The Time is changing. However for adminstrative purpose, the day and night are divided into 24 hours. Each hour has 15 degree of longitudes. 1 degree equal 4 minutes.

To work out the Local Solar Time, we need to know what longltude we are using for a place. For example, Sydney and Melbourne time are both using 150E longitude. Both Cities using the same watch time(GMT + 10). However the Local Solar Time for the two cities are not the same. Sydney is fall on longitude 151”E and Melbourne is on longitude 144.58”E.

In the morning from 9am – 11am is Snake hour. From 11am – 1pm is Horse hour. If a person born in Melbourne at 11:10am in the morning, it is the Horse hour. However, we need to work out the Local Solar Time for Four Pillars Natal Chart.

We need to take 20 minutes {(150-145) x 4min = 20minutes} away from the watch time he was born. As a result, 11:10am – 20 min = 10:50am in the morning. It becomes the Snake hour.
