Feng Shui at Christmas-timeThe Year of the Pig has nearly passed and soon it will be Christmas. Last year, I noticed that many families had Christmas decorations at home regardless of their religion. Christmas trees, lights, bells, Santa figures and so on. Christmas bells and so on. If we apply the principles of Feng Shui to the Christmas Tree, we discover that there are certain areas in the house that it should be kept away from. Likewise, there are certain areas in the house where a Christmas Tree will promote good "Chi" or energy. Whether we are speaking of a living plant or a plastic imitation, the Christmas Tree's form and colour identifies it as a Wood element (one of the five elements). If small flashing light bulbs are added to the tree then the Wood element of the Christmas Tree turns into Fire (Wood enhances Fire), as electricity generates light and heat. By knowing which of the five elements are applicable to the Christmas Tree, we can determine which postion in the house will best promote positive Chi. in addition to traditional Christmas decorations, you might also like to hang some Feng Shui stars in different areas of the house. Collectively these stars form the Purpose-White Stars System. The ssystem is very simple. Each star is numbered from 1 to 9. The star numbers 1, 6, 8, and 9 are the good numbers. The bad star numbers are 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7. The stars meanings are as the followings:
